In case you have never been to Thailand before then you should know that a lot of really nice silver jewelry is produced in Thailand and prices are really affordable when compared to what you would pay for silver jewelry back home. In Phuket especially there are a lot of shops selling silver jewelry.

The first place which you should visit is the basement of the Patong Jungceylon shopping mall. There are many small shops selling typically Thai products and handicrafts and I have seen some really nice silver jewelry shops there. Another shopping mall which you should visit is the Phuket Central Festival Mall which is located along the Phuket by Pass road. I have also noticed some really charming boutiques selling silver jewelry and other types of jewelry.

If you go in to the center of Phuket Town you will also find a lot of jewelry shops and many of them sell silver jewelry. I suspect that many of these shops will be cheaper then what you would pay in Patong beach for example.
