Hôtel Le Portalou is a two star rated hotel located at Place Du Portalou, 48500 La Canourgue, France.  The hotel is right on the the edge of the Cévennes National Park and is an ideal base for travellers who love outdoor activities.  The hotel is part of the Logis International chain and has 11 rooms equipped with standard amenities including free wi-fi internet access, which is available in the entire hotel.  Facilities and services include a restaurant, bar, tennis court and numerous outdoor activities.  The hotel has a great location and there are many outdoor activities to enjoy such as canoeing, hiking and cycling.  Rooms are clean and comfortable.  Breakfast was very oridnary and a little pricey for the food served.  The staff are competent and efficient.  Downside would the reception area closes early.  Overall, recommended for its location.
